Layers upon layers of energy within us are often in need of healing. One must look past the personality and look deeper into the heart to understand the soul. At the time of birth there's innocence, purity, and oneness with all (Heart Center). A soul will learn parental behaviors and patterns. And then as that soul grows, they learn behavioral patterns in school and other social settings. Their personality starts developing as they learn how to connect with others.

Every soul will have early programming and conditioning along their life journey. They will expereince wounds that hurt the heart. Life experiences that were challenging often bring up

triggers and pain. Coping mechanisms are often applied to try to numb or push down that pain.

Our personality /ego is not who we truly are, it wears masks and often forgets its one with all (Heart Center). There are many layers of the soul that's often covered in a veil of pain. All those layers play a role in how we move through life. There's unhealed vs healed versions of ourself:

The unhealed version may look like this:

*Always thinking their is something wrong with oneself

*Often looks for what's wrong with others

*Easier to blame outside factors than to take personal accountability for our own behavior

*Avoids, neglects, distracts oneself from looking within

*Unhealthy coping mechanisms / old patterns, programs, conditioning keeps one stuck

*Needs approval from others in order to feel worthy

*Low self worth issues, low self-confidence

*Usually emotions and energy of anger, fear, and /or sadness rules over peace

Unhealed anger / fear / sadness is what keeps someone stuck in pain. In order to heal oneself, one must move through those difficult emotions and energy and not stay stuck in them.

When one walks the path of healing, the healed version may look like this:

*Starts to look within and can accept things as they are

*Self accountability, self responsibility

*Starts looking for solutions instead of problems

*Has no need to compare oneself to others for validation of self

*Stops trying to fix or control a situation or others

*SURRENDERING to a higher power ~ there's nothing you do alone anymore

*See's the beauty in life again (ocean, nature, animals, people, etc.)

*Feel safer in one's own skin

*Knowing you are enough, exactly as you are, and don't need to prove your worth to others

*Believing in oneself

*You have boundaries and say no when something is not in alignment with your higher self

*You begin to see the unhealed wounds of others

The path towards healing is continuous ~ you remove layer upon layer of unhealed energy, wounds, trauma, etc.  Just keep going, and remember, when you surrender everything to a higher power, you never walk your path alone.
